Chiropractic Care in Campbell, CA
An adjustment gets a stuck joint moving again. What we do around it is what keeps it moving. Same-week appointments, three chiropractors, and a plan that has an end to it.
An Adjustment On Its Own Buys You a Few Good Days
An adjustment is a small, quick movement applied to a joint that is not moving the way it should. Patients almost always describe the problem the same way before we start. The joints just felt really stuck together. The adjustment unsticks them.
What happens next is the part that matters. A joint that was stuck will get stuck again if nothing changes around it.
There is a version of chiropractic where you come in, get cracked, and leave. Every week, indefinitely. Dr. Mike’s name for it is “rack and crack,” and his view of it is short: they need to do better.
So an adjustment here comes attached to something. Soft tissue work on whatever keeps pulling the joint back out of position. Rehab for the muscles that should have been holding it. Laser or shockwave when the tissue needs help settling down.
If we are doing our job, you need us less as time goes on, not more.

What We See Most
Most of what walks through the door falls into one of these. Each has its own page covering what causes it and what treatment involves.
Back Pain
The most common reason people call us.
Neck Pain
Desk work, sleep position, and old injuries that never settled.
Shoulder Pain
Reaching, lifting overhead, sleeping on one side.
Hip Pain
Stiffness walking, sitting, or getting out of the car.
Knee Pain
Stairs, squatting, and running loads the knee was not ready for.
Sciatica
Pain down the leg from an irritated nerve in the lower back.
Piriformis Syndrome
A deep glute muscle pressing on the sciatic nerve.
Headaches/Migraines
The ones that build through the afternoon usually start in the neck.
Sports Injuries
Getting back to training without losing the season.
Plantar Fasciitis
Heel pain that is worst on the first steps of the morning.
How We Adjust
There is more than one way to move a joint. If being adjusted by hand is not for you, say so at the first visit. It changes the technique, not the plan.

- Diversified adjusting
The standard hands-on adjustment, and the one most people picture. Fast and specific. Usually accompanied by the sound everyone asks about, which is gas releasing in the joint rather than bones moving.

- Instrument-assisted adjusting
A handheld tool delivers a lighter, more targeted impulse. Useful if you are nervous about manual adjusting, or if the area is too irritated to tolerate it yet.

- Drop-table and mobilisation
For people who would rather not be twisted, and for joints that need moving without a thrust. Slower, gentler, and effective.
Everything Else That Makes It Hold
This is the difference between relief that lasts a few days and relief that lasts. All of it is in the same building.
Massage Therapy
Hands-on work on the muscles pulling the joint back out of position.
Shockwave Therapy
For tendon problems and old injuries that never fully healed.
Laser Therapy
Settles down tissue too irritated for hands-on work.
Personal Training
Supervised strength work so the fix holds under real load.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Recovery support for patients it suits.
“Most people have been adjusted before. They come in, something pops, they feel better for two days, and they’re back next week. That’s not treatment, that’s maintenance on a problem nobody fixed. I want to know why the joint got stuck in the first place, and then I want you to stop needing me.”

Who You Will See
Dr. Mike Grossman, D.C. - Founder
Mike was headed for physical therapy school when a bike accident in high school changed the plan. His helmet split in half, his neck was compressed, and for a minute or two he had no sensation anywhere. The standard route did not get him back. A chiropractor did. He became one so he could do both sides of the work at once.

Dr. Kyndra Cervantes, D.C
Dr. Kyndra developed a passion for healthcare through sports in high school. She earned her B.S.E.D. from Baylor University and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
For the past six years, Dr. Kyndra has called the Bay Area home. While she especially loves working with athletes and runners, she cares for patients of all ages – from infants to older adults. Her goal is to help you live pain-free so you can enjoy the activities you love.

Dr. Paris Henry, D.C.
Paris is a licensed Chiropractor and Certified Personal Trainer. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science from San Jose State University. He also holds a personal training certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

What the First Hour Looks Like
About 60 minutes. We will ask what hurts, what you have already tried, and what you are trying to get back to. Running, lifting, sleeping through the night, sitting through a workday without shifting around.
Then an exam: how you move, what is restricted, what is compensating for it. We look above and below the painful area as standard, because the place that hurts often is not the place it started.
You will usually be treated on the same visit. You will leave knowing roughly how many visits this should take and what would make us change course.
And if we think you would do better with someone else, you will hear that at the first visit rather than after six weeks.

When You Need Someone Else First
Chiropractic is not right for everything, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. Tell us, or see a physician first, if you have any of these:
- Weakness that is getting worse rather than better
- Numbness that is not going away
- Pain following a significant accident or fall
- Unexplained weight loss alongside the pain
- Loss of bladder or bowel control
- Fever with back or neck pain
None of these automatically mean something serious. They mean imaging or a medical opinion comes before anyone adjusts anything. We would rather send you and be wrong than skip it.

What the First Hour Looks Like
We do not bill insurance, and it is a deliberate choice. Insurance will usually cover an adjustment and not much else. Not the soft tissue work, not the rehab, not the time it takes to work out why the joint got stuck in the first place.
That leaves clinics delivering the visit insurance pays for instead of the plan that actually fixes the problem. We would rather give you the second one and be straight about the cost up front.
We do provide superbills, so if you have out-of-network benefits you can submit them to your insurer for reimbursement yourself.
You will know what your plan costs before you commit to it. No packages you did not ask about, no surprises at the desk.

Common Questions
Does an adjustment hurt?
It should not. Most people describe it as a quick pressure and then a release. If an area is very irritated we use a lighter technique until it settles. Some soreness for a day afterwards is normal, similar to after a workout.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on what is wrong and how long you have had it, but you will get a realistic range at the first visit rather than an open-ended plan. If you are not changing the way we expected, we change the approach or refer you on.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly.
Do you take my insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly, but we provide superbills you can submit yourself if you have out-of-network benefits. More on why in the section above.
What is that popping sound?
Gas releasing from the fluid inside the joint. It is not bones moving or anything cracking, and the sound itself is not the point. A good adjustment without a sound is still a good adjustment.
Can I come in if nothing hurts right now?
Yes, though there is no urgency if you are moving well. The better reason to come in is if you have quietly stopped doing something because of your body.
Do you see kids, or pregnant patients?

I came to Adapt Health Clinic to get treated for an old foot injury. I was in unbearable ankle pain, my daily activity levels went down to almost zero because of the pain. I went to physical therapy for months and saw little to no results. After just 3 shockwave sessions I saw more progress than I did the entire time I went to traditional physical therapy. My pain has significantly reduced and I’m well on my way back to my normal activity levels. I really can’t thank shockwave and Dr. Kyndra enough. Dr. Kyndra really knows her stuff and she’s been awesome at guiding me through this type of treatment. Huge shout out to Dr. Kyndra!Posted on Google![]()

I absolutely love coming to see Dr. Mike and his team. Every time I leave, I feel better and lighter, and I honestly look forward to my visits. Dr. Mike introduced me to laser therapy and it’s been such a game changer for my chronic pain and migraines. I didn’t realize how much relief was possible until now. Dr. Kyndra is amazing with cupping, and the way she does it feels so healing. The masseuse is also incredible and really completes the whole experience. You can tell they all care about their patients and put their heart into the work. I’m just really grateful to have found them.Posted on Google![]()

I had a fantastic experience at Adapt Health Clinic! The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing from the moment you walk in. My masseuse, Nathalia, was incredibly attentive, she took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored the treatment perfectly to what I needed. I really appreciated how knowledgeable she was about different techniques and treatment options, and how she explained everything clearly. I left feeling noticeably better and cared for. Highly recommend Adapt Health Clinic for anyone looking for professional, personalized care and exceptional massage therapy!Posted on Google![]()

I had an excellent experience with Nathalie (Nathi). After hip surgery, I was dealing with tightness, soreness, and limited mobility, and the combination of massage therapy and acupuncture made a huge difference. Nathi took the time to really understand my recovery needs and tailored the session perfectly, focusing on the right areas with just the right level of pressure and technique. I left feeling more relaxed, with noticeably improved range of motion and reduced discomfort. Beyond the skill, Nathi brings a calm, caring, and professional energy that makes the whole experience restorative. I highly recommend her to anyone recovering from surgery or looking for thoughtful, effective bodywork.Posted on Google![]()

I’ve had lingering shoulder/pec tendon issues from an old injury. I’ve been getting shockwave and laser treatment at this clinic. The treatment has been helpful and It has been a great experience ! Usually I leave the clinic with more range of motion than when I arrived. My shoulder gets pretty achy from it in the following days so proper recovery and the right amount of PT for retraining movement patterns is helpful for locking in progress. Definitely recommend!Posted on Google![]()

Nathalia is the one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had. She has tons of experience and can always find my trouble spots. She is super caring and supportive and will always follow up with you to make sure your body feels better after each session. She makes things easy and you feel comfortable talking to her right away. She’s also really strong in case you need a heavy hand for those sore and trouble spots on your body.Posted on Google![]()
